Our science-driven data products support efforts to reduce carbon emissions from deforestation and degradation and restore forests at all scales.
Country and Jurisdiction Data
CTrees provides annual summaries of forest carbon data for every country and jurisdiction globally for the last twenty years on a public data platform. Our data includes annual estimates of forest carbon stocks, carbon emissions, and carbon removals.

Project Assessments

Project Assessments
CTrees is developing carbon report products for projects, to provide policymakers and carbon market participants with site-level assessments of historical carbon stocks, activity data, additionality, permanence, and leakage. This product is in pilot phase with a limited rollout anticipated in mid-2023.
Tree-Level Carbon

Tree-Level Carbon
CTrees scientists are tracking carbon at the tree-level (1-m resolution) in jurisdictions, countries, and regions to monitor the carbon effects of forest restoration, afforestation, smallholder forest management, and other programs and activities. CTrees' tree-level asssessments are already being used to calibrate our national and jurisdictional data for Africa and California and CTrees anticipates completing a global tree-level assessment by 2024.
REDD+ Activity Data

REDD+ Activity Data
CTrees provides REDD+ programs with geospatial forest carbon data to measure activities like reforestation, deforestation, degradation, and fires. This data can be used for project measuring, reporting, and verification (MRV) and for long-term planning to predict risks and identify areas suitable for long-term forest investment.
