Register today to join CTrees for a webinar on Thursday, April 16.

Measuring aboveground biomass is critical to understanding forest structure and carbon dynamics on land, but limitations in data science and the complexity of ecosystems have made it difficult to produce consistent estimates of biomass at resolutions relevant for policy and finance.
Now, advances in remote sensing and deep learning are allowing scientists to move beyond isolated data snapshots towards systematic mapping of biomass at all scales.
In a webinar on April 16, Sassan Saatchi, CTrees’ CEO and chief scientist, and Yan Yang, research scientist and carbon data lead, will explore the cutting-edge technology and science enabling this continuous global monitoring of biomass.
The webinar will introduce CTrees’ aboveground biomass time series, a 100-meter global dataset covering 2000-2025, and share applications to improve forest governance and unlock finance for nature-based solutions.
