    U.S. LULUCF GHG Inventory Roundtable

    Hosted by CTrees and the Data Foundation, this invite-only roundtable will convene technical leaders associated with developing past UNFCCC greenhouse gas inventories of the U.S. land sector with the stakeholders who currently depend on them. Attendees will spend the morning discussing the current state of technical efforts, clarifying roles across federal, state, and private actors, and working towards a shared roadmap for more durable U.S. land-sector accounting infrastructure.

    Co-hosted by CTrees and Earth Fire Alliance (EFA) at the Doris Duke Foundation’s Tree House convening (opens in a new tab), this event brings two missions together in one room: CTrees' work to see every tree on Earth, and EFA's work to make every fire visible with the FireSat constellation. Across two panel discussions, speakers will explore how forest monitoring can inform finance, policy, and management strategies that make healthy, fire-resilient forests possible and investable.
