    Sassan Saatchi will join a panel presented by Wildlife Conservation Society to address the alignment and coordination of data in allocating jurisdictional baselines in Verra’s VM0048 methodology and ART TREES, the jurisdictional REDD+ standard, which has major implications for the viability of project investment and distribution of carbon revenues. This event will provide an opportunity for the establishing of best practice in how data is presented, coordinated, and used in the development of nested jurisdictional crediting systems.

    CTrees and Doris Duke Foundation are co-organizing a panel session on how to reimagine forest MRV in the U.S. as a digital public good that empowers diverse actors across the forest economy. Bridging tech and end-user voices—including smallholders, industry, NGOs, and scientists—the dialogue will work to chart a path toward a shared MRV architecture that is transparent, scalable, and rooted in climate impact. The convening will inform a shared blueprint for next-gen forest climate MRV.
